I’m flabbergasted by any negative review on here because we used this company very recently for our mother and received nothing but kindness and professionalism from the moment they picked up her body at home till the moment I picked up her death certificates. Dominic was unbelievably patient with our 3-ring-circus, kind, to the point and gave the perfect amount of condolences right upfront. If I could give extra stars for taking on dealing with our nasty estranged, brother, I would. They even gave us a nice bag to carry her away in, something from the heart and not bought in bulk on the internet.
The loss of my sister was devastating. The sudden loss of such a vibrant personality and the pain of not knowing what to do was one of the hardest things we had to go through. The wonderful people at Cremation Society of Alaska made it easier to get through. We are grateful for their kindness and patience as we struggled to navigate this time. Cremation Society of Alaska assisted with arrangements for both of my parents in 2024. They were consistently compassionate, attentive, and professional. They answered all my questions, took care of arranging military honors for my veteran father, and assisted with obituaries. Very easy to work with and helpful, especially during such a trying time. Even the smallest task -- carrying my parents' cremains to my car -- was dispatched with kindness and utmost dignity.
They were very professional and kind, BUT... beware. make sure that you are looking at prices on THEIR website. There was some confusion when I was looking because lower prices were on "the web" that they said they had no control over. So make sure that you are on THEIR actual website to get the correct pricing. It's a stressful time, you shouldn't have to deal with that confusion.
If there is 0 star I would give them a 0. Especially the guy he was on the phone screaming yelling for no reason, I was just asking for my mom death certificate. Don't and never use them for your service, the guy is very rude 😒 😤 😑
