I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. McKinnon and his wife, Juanita about 5 years ago when my husband passed away during COVID. The McKinnon's and their staff were the most kind, caring and professional people you can meet. They were very understanding of my situation, met every need and even went above and beyond to ensure every family member was satisfied with the final arrangements and funeral service. From beginning to end, Magnolia Cremations and Funeral Services were top-notch. My husband was put away quite nicely and I was pleased with the services rendered, as well as, the price of the service. The memorial CD video received has warmed our hearts over the years and will continue to do so for years to come. Five years later I will still refer Magnolia Cremations and Funeral Services to those looking for a great business to handle the final arrangements for their loved ones. Messsssssyyyyyyyy! To be honest, the experience was not bad at all! My loved one was handled with care! I went to these people for the cremation of my grandmother as she requested! I had POA over her while she was alive! None of her kids came around or did anything for her so as her oldest grand daughter I stepped in as I have done since I was 18 years old! So! After paying for my grandmothers cremation I had to get her kids to sign off on it! The same kids who left her alone for years but wanted to show up when she was on her death bed! The guy who handles the cremation arrangement, paperwork etc took it upon himself to be messy and tell one of her deadbeat children that an insurance policy may be involved and winked! A funeral home shouldn’t involve themselves in family matters nor adding fuel to any fire especially when you do not know a family’s history or background! What you did was ignite a fire of false information which caused backlash from my family and probably a pending court case due to the threats that have been received! I came to you guys because I was referred by the hospice team who helped me care for my grandmother! If you are looking for cheap, this is the funeral home for you, if you are looking for professionalism, take your business elsewhere! My grandmothers obituary still has not been uploaded and I emailed it a month or more ago!

Brady and his staff were phenomenal. The care, compassion and professionalism made this process a little easier to handle. Brady made us feel like family. Highly recommend them! They just took care of our family after my father passed away last week and Brady and Juanita are truly hands on and take care of everything. No high-pressure. They are caring and patient and treat their time with you like a ministry and not just a business. They are the only independently owned funeral home in Montgomery AL and do not try to upcharge you during an emotionally charged time like other places do. I called one of the more well known funeral homes in Montgomery and was told their basic package would be $13,000 but that they would price match (like this is WalMart) if I brought in a written quote from a cheaper place (Magnolia's is $4,000 for the same exact offering). That tells me those other places are charging more than they need to ONLY IF you don't call them out on it. Thank you Brady and Juanita.

Brady McKinnon and his wonderful wife are some of the most kind and professionals people I have ever dealt with. Brady was there anytime I needed him! He answered any questions I had and every time I called him he answered, which in todays time is hard to find. From having things in perfect order to wonderfully preparing the make up they did an amazing job! Just can’t say enough about Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Service!
